Just Let Me Scrapbook: August
Yes, I know. Two days in a row I'm showing you last month's projects. What can I say? Life got away from me! So, here's what I made with my design team goodies from Just Let Me Scrapbook...
I made this adorable 3x3 star book! I'm really happy with the way it turned out and I think I'll be making a lot more of them! It's three layers and a I cut a circle from the front layer so that the center (green) layer shows through! Pretty cool looking!
This is one of my favorite techniques - writing in both black and white on a photo!
And finally, I made this layout...
I think it's one of my all time favorites. I just love the way it turned out. It was a lot of handcutting (gotta' love an exacto knife and a glass mat) but well worth the effort!
Finally, I had a bit of good news yesterday: I had two layouts (one paper and one digital) picked up for a Memory Makers book called "A Scrapper's Year." Yay!
Thanks for stopping by!

Wow - gorgeous - a whole lot of cutting going on there - but it looks super duper fabbo!!!

Julie - How do you do it all? OMG - you are so freakin talented. How do you have time for it all - PLUS you are artistic director for Milk Can Theatre? Designer, jewelery, quilts, scrapbooking etc.
Do you sleep??
My daughter is in her senior year at Marymount Manhattan in directing & acting and she is interning this fall at the Drama League. What a small world.

Any chance you would share the technique for the star book? I love what you have done with it. Takes star books to a whole new level.
