Happy 7th A Muse

Hey everyone, did you know that this month A Muse is celebrating it's 7th year!

In honor of the happy event, we (the DT) are sharing our favorite 7's:

My 7 Fave things about A Muse:

1. The people I have become friends with- thanks to A Muse. I have been a part of the Design Team since 2004- I have lots of fun with these girls- we've shared laughs, heartaches, excitement and disappointment together. They are my peeps. I dig'em!
2. THE STUFF!! HELLO!!! I think the stamps are insane cute, but the day the note cards came out was a happy day in Jennyland. I have specific faves: I love the Lime Peel and Cabana Blue band more than I can express. I am sure Linda gets super tired of seeing all my DT creations on these notes. :)
3. I love meeting "fans" of A Muse- I really had such a great time when I taught for the grand opening of the A Muse store last year. I even met a very nice lady from my home town of Kamloops, BC.
4. a.muse.a.palooza:. The events leading up to it, the blog, the fun, even the chaos as we prepare behind the scenes...it's such a great event!
5. The A Muse store!! I love coming over to Seattle to visit and see new products and cards displayed in the cute little store, and I love seeing Nina's windows!!
6. John's A Muse creations.
7. Last but not least: Linda, Ross and the girls. Linda is such a great "boss," I love that she is a fellow Canadian transplant and such a creative visionary! Linda gave me my "break" in crafting, way long ago when I came to meet her in what was then the basement studio and former home of A Muse. I love Linda's ideas and especially her energy. ((((hugs))))

In other news: lol... I really didn't mean to be away from my blog (slacker) for such a long time! I have been making good use of my time though, working on a few projects here and there and selling our hoop.dee.do's! I recently completed a big marathon scrapbooking session thanks to a *super* inspiring upcoming Garden Theme...I made 6 scrapbook pages in 2 days- a world record for me!

I also wanted to share my heartfelt congratulations to my dear friends Nate and Jessica on the birth of their adorable little boy Caden! He was born last week and we get to finally see him on Thursday. I am so excited. I love him already- I think he's just the cutest thing ever...

(ack! Baby Fever coming on fast!)

Aside from that, there has been a lot of watching LOST and Family Guy and American Idol. I am pulling for Cook- but I think Archie is going to win fo'shiz. It's the power of the masses of 13yr old texters. Who can compete with that?? :)

Meantime, I AM ROOTIN' FOR COOK, AS WELL!!! Nothin' against the Archie, who is an *extremely* talented young man but, well, like you said--mass appeal to the tweeners may give him the leading edge over Cook, who IMHO, has been *the* most versatile and talented in terms of Musician/ARTIST and performer of all the contestants, in this year's Idol.

Great card ... love your list (especially John's card - too funny!) ... love the pics, and that is one seriously cute baby! Glad we have things tied up in a bow, so to speak, so no worries about baby fever here!

David Cook is from my backyard, and either way I am really looking forward to getting to see him next week! I missed his "coming home" concert, but I heard it was great!
